Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
What physical training involves, what we need from you, and what you are agreeing to before we begin.
Last updated: 13 August 2026
The short version. Movement and exercise carry real risk, even when coached well. We reduce that risk by assessing you properly and progressing you carefully, but we can't remove it. Tell us everything about your body, stop when something feels wrong, and understand that you're choosing to take part.
1. What this document is
This waiver applies to everyone who takes part in coaching, assessment or training with Project RE Pte Ltd (UEN 202438619G), whether in person or remotely. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. The nature of what we do
Our work involves physical assessment, exercise, loading and progressive strength and mobility training. It is physically demanding by design, because building capacity requires asking your body to do more than it currently does.
Project RE provides coaching and education. We are not a medical provider and do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
3. Risks you are accepting
You understand that participation carries risks that cannot be fully eliminated, including:
- muscle strains, joint sprains and other soft-tissue injuries;
- aggravation or recurrence of an existing injury or condition;
- temporary soreness, stiffness, fatigue or discomfort following sessions;
- dizziness, faintness, nausea or breathlessness during exertion;
- in rare cases, serious injury or a serious adverse cardiovascular event.
You accept these risks as inherent to physical training, and you take part voluntarily with that understanding.
4. Your health declarations
You confirm that:
- you have disclosed all injuries, symptoms, medical conditions, surgeries and medications relevant to physical activity;
- the information you have given us is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge;
- you are not aware of any medical reason why you should not take part; and
- you will tell us promptly if any of the above changes.
Our programming is built directly on what you tell us. Incomplete or inaccurate information makes it less safe.
5. Medical clearance
You are responsible for obtaining medical clearance before starting if a healthcare professional has advised it, or if you have a condition where exercise carries added risk.
Project RE is not the right starting point if you are currently experiencing sudden or rapidly worsening pain, recent surgery without clearance, numbness, tingling or weakness, unexplained weight loss or fever, or changes in bladder or bowel control. Please see a medical professional first.
6. Your responsibilities during sessions
You agree to:
- follow the instructions, technique and progressions we give you;
- work within the limits we set, and not push past them because you feel you should;
- stop immediately and tell us if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, breathlessness or anything else that concerns you;
- ask when you are unsure rather than guessing; and
- train in a safe environment with appropriate equipment when working independently.
7. Assumption of risk
Knowing the risks described above, you voluntarily choose to take part, and you accept responsibility for injury or loss arising from risks inherent in physical activity, from your own physical condition, or from your failure to follow instructions or to disclose relevant health information.
8. Limits of this waiver
This document does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. In particular, and for the avoidance of doubt, nothing here excludes or restricts our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Under Singapore law, including the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, such exclusions are not permitted, and we do not attempt to make them. You are accepting the risks inherent in exercise; you are not giving up rights the law gives you.
9. Emergency care
If you suffer an injury or medical emergency during a session, you consent to us arranging emergency medical assistance. You are responsible for the cost of any medical treatment you receive.
10. Photography and video
We often record movement for assessment and coaching feedback. That footage is used for your coaching only. We will not use your image, video or story publicly without asking you separately, and you are free to decline.
11. Signing the waiver
Before your first session, we will ask you to read and sign our waiver during onboarding. That signed document is the operative agreement between us.
This page is published so you can read the terms in full before you commit, and so they remain available to you afterwards. If there is ever any difference between this page and the document you signed, the signed document applies.
12. Governing law
This waiver is governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
